How to make an Easter Bunny Basket
What you will need:
- Craft foam A3 size (yellow or green)
- Strip of patterned card 3cm x 30cm (optional)
- 4 paper fasteners
- cocktail stick
- Craft foam A4 size (white)
- sticky pads x 15
- google eyes
- 3 large pom poms
- 1 small pom pom
- Take the A3 yellow or green foam and cut a 30cm x 30cm square. Save the left over piece for the handle.
- Make 4, 10cm slits on opposite sides.
- Using a cocktail stick poke 12 holes as shown.
- Gather up the sides and slide a paper fastener on each end in the bottom hole.
- Take the left over piece and cut a width of 3cm to make a handle and poke a hole in each end.
- (optional) Make 6 slits in the handle and weave a strip of patterned card up and down to decorate it.
- Now attach the handle to the basket with paper fasteners using the top hole.
- Cut out a bunny head shape, 2 ears, 2 front paws and attach to one end of the basket using sticky pads.
- Cut out a bunny bottom and add to the other end of the basket using sticky pads.
- Add google eyes and decorate with pom poms. Let the children use the left over craft foam to cut out shapes and personalise their basket.
